Former Coronation Street star Katherine Kelly looks almost unrecognisable 11 years after her character Becky McDonald left the ITV soap.
Katherine, 43 became a fan favourite on the cobbles having played the role of outgoing Becky for six years having first joined the show in 2006.
While she left Weatherfield in 2012, the actress has continued to enjoy a lengthy and successful career in TV, adding to her long list of notable appearances.
One of which includes her starring role as a series regular in Happy Valley playing DI Jodie Shackleton, among a handful of film titles with the star showing no signs of slowing down from the acting industry.
Just recently the mum-of-two looked totally different from her time on the cobbles as she showed off her stunning new look to fit into her new role with a complete hair transformation
Katherine donned a chic brunette bob that sat above her shoulders and fell to one side of her face – worlds away from the blonde locks she previously rocked.
Taking to Twitter to reveal the new look that was styled in loose waves, the actress wrote: "New gig = new hair."
It is yet to be confirmed what project Katherine is referring to, but fans were quick to compliment the star on her new look that made her look almost unrecognisable after all these years.
"Fabulous Katherine!", one wrote.
While a second said: "Wow you look so different."
"Looks really lovely suits you", said a third.
Another commented: "Absolutely gorgeous."
"Suits you" and "Love it" declared two more.
Some were left guessing the type of role Katherine might be appearing in as one suggested: "Ooooo looks like a lawyer or police chief role??"
"More ambulance drama!", commented another.
And other Corrie fans seemed to miss the soap star on the cobbles and begged her to return, one wrote: "Come back to Corrie we miss you."
Another asked: "When is Becky coming back to Coro?"
After leaving Coronation Street in 2012 the star remained on our screens having quickly landed the role of Lady Mae Loxley in ITV's drama series Mr. Selfridge.
She also starred in two critically acclaimed ITV dramas – Lead Dale in Cheat followed by Innocent as Sally Wright.
Afterwards, Katherine went on to play the key role in BBC's Happy Valley Happy as well as stints in The Night Manager and Liar.
Balancing her busy work schedule, the star is also a mother of two having welcomed two daughters in 2014 and in 2016.
