Chris Evans is just like us.
As “Avengers: Endgame” crossed the $2 billion mark over the weekend, Captain America himself stopped by his hometown of Sudbury, Massachusetts, to attend his 20th high school reunion.
The 37-year-old actor caught up with his former classmates from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School Saturday at Conrad’s Restaurant, a manager named Kelly confirmed to USA TODAY.
He wore a name tag that simply said “Chris.”

Donna Scott, a manager at Conrad’s, told Boston.com that “everyone was pretty excited that he was there,” adding that, “many people wanted to take pictures with him.”
Photos from the event were shared on social media, including a class picture of Evans posing with dozens of other alumni at the restaurant.
The reunion occurred as “Avengers: Endgame” became the second highest-grossing film ever worldwide during its second week in theaters, unseating “Titanic.”
We’re sure that served as an epic icebreaker.
