Aldi has delighted customers after unveiling plans that will get us all in the mood for summer.
The budget retailer has announced that they will be adding Slush Puppie drinks maker machines to their great outdoors range of products.
This weekend, the supermarket will be offering the Slush Puppie Bundle for £54.99 as one of its online-only Special Buys.
The pack contains everything you need to make your own slush drinks at home including cups, straws and syrups.
As with all SpecialBuys the offer only lasts as long as stocks do and the shelves will not be refilled once they are gone.
Online reviews promise that the machines are "easy to use" and another said that they "couldn't wait for boozy slushies in the sun."
Elsewhere in Aldi, staff are gearing up to celebrate 'Junemas' by bringing Christmas essential mince pies back into store.
It might be almost halfway to the next one, but that hasn’t stopped almost half the country gearing up to celebrate last Christmas in June, and Kevin the Carrot is back to help.
When restrictions loosen on June 25, many have made plans to have the Christmas lunch that 2020 missed and Aldi has promised to provide the mince pies.
Aside from the odd Grinch who labelled the idea an excuse to shift old stock, most customers are excited about the novel idea.
One gushed: "I could eat your mince pies any time; the pastry is yummy."
Aldi insisted to Manchester Evening News that it is definitely not the case that they need to shift old stock.
They said: "Aldi saw conversation starting around Junemas and wanted to bring back our favourite festive treat to add to the celebrations."
Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi, says: “The first Friday post-lockdown will feel like Christmas, as we all get to meet up with friends and family after months apart.”
Follow Aldi as it gears up for the summer celebrations on #AldiJunemas and let's shoppers pick the Christmas favourites that will appear in store alongside the mince pies.
