Woman shows how to easily fix clothes that have shrunk in the dryer with hair conditioner

WE'VE all been there – we chuck our washed clothes in the dryer in a bid to get them dry in a hurry but end up ruining our favourite dress or jumper in the process.

Fear not though, as one woman claims you can easily undo any damage to clothes that have shrunk in the dryer – and all you need is hair conditioner.

Sharing a clip on TikTok, Bonnie Wyrick demonstrates a simple hack that instantly fixes your ruined clothes – and it's really quite easy to do.

She shares a glimpse of a cute floral dress which appears much shorter and tighter after a round in the dryer.

Asking the question, "ever shrink your clothes in the dryer?", she demonstrates soaking the ruined item in hot water and and 1/4 cup of"cheap" hair conditioner for 20-30 minutes.

Then, after hanging it dry, she says to "gently pull in all directions to stretch" as she carefully tugs at the fabric.

Proving the effectiveness of her method, the fashion enthusiast then pops the frock back on which is seen to be visibly longer and looser having returned to its regular fit.

The video has since been viewed almost 270k times and has racked up multiple comments from peoplewho were left blown away by the "life changing"hack.

Eager to try it out right away, one person wrote: "I tried this on a pair of shorts and it worked so well. Yay!"

While others dubbed it a "life saver"We also shared how , with one person saying: "Omg this might be life changing."

And another adding: "You just changed my life."

Many even admitted to throwing away clothes when this happens thinking there's no way of reviving the ruined items.

One person even suggested baby shampoo claiming it works much the same.
