Royal fans gush over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s unseen wedding photos – but why didn’t Kate make ANY of the 16 snaps whilst George’s nanny DID?

WHEN Meghan Markle and Prince Harry released a series of 16 intimate photos of their wedding day – taken this time last year to celebrate their one year anniversary – fans rushed to congratulate them with messages of love and support.

But on closer inspection, there was one royal notably missing from the edit – Kate, The Duchess of Cambridge.

In the series of snaps the Duke and Duchess of Sussex can be seen laughing and joking together along with Prince William – Harry's best man – as they said their 'I do's' at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Prince Charles and Meghan's mum Doria also got a special nod, as well as Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The wedding dress designer Clare Waight Keller got the royal seal of approval, as well as The Queen's assistant private secretary, Samantha Cohen – who carried Meghan's bouquet.

Even Prince George and Princess Charlotte's Norland nanny, Maria Borrallo, made the cut – but Kate cannot be seen in one.

This eagle-eyed spot comes in the wake of endless reports of a 'rift' or a 'feud' between the Sussex's and the Cambridge's, which have been rumbling on since before the wedding.

Kensington Palace have denied the feud.

The rumours were fuelled further by a number of Meghan and Harry's palace staff resigning from their roles.

Despite this, Kate and William have been nothing but loving and supportive of Meghan and Harry in public, especially after the duo welcomed their new son Archie Harrison earlier this month.

Kate said she was "dying" to meet her new nephew while William quipped, "Welcome to the sleep deprivation society" as his little brother became a dad.

Insiders have admitted things "have not been easy" behind the scenes since Harry married Meghan, but it is hoped that royal baby Archie could be the peacemaker to bring them closer together.

Kate's absence was noted when Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, posted an adorable video on their Instagram page – followed by 8 million – the caption read: "Happy one year anniversary to Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex!

"Today marks the one year anniversary of the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

"Their Royal Highnesses exchanged vows at St George’s Chapel within the grounds of Windsor Castle on May 19th, 2018.

The collection of candid photos is accompanied by This Little Light of Mine recession music that was played during the ceremony last year.

"The selected song “This Little Light of Mine” was chosen by the couple for their recessional.

"We hope you enjoy reliving this moment, and seeing some behind the scenes photos from this special day."

Harry and Meg also added their own note of thanks saying, "Thank you for all of the love and support from so many of you around the world.

"Each of you made this day even more meaningful."

Royal fans from across the globe were quick to flood the royal couple with messages of congratulations moments after they uploaded the video.

"Happy 1st anniversary to this inspirational couple. What a year, what a journey!!! These two have ignited my interest in the royal family," one wrote.

While others added: "Gorgeous and they look so happy. Congratulations to them both and of course little Archie," and "These pictures emulate what a precious and beautiful day it was! Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary."

It is thought the couple will be having low-key celebrations at their Frogmore Cottage home in Windsor, along with Meghan's mum Doria Ragland – who is currently staying with them – and their newborn son Archie.

While we've only seen Meghan and Archie once since she gave birth at The Portland Hospital on Monday 6th May, Harry has been out at numerous royal engagements and was seen looking happy and relaxed as he attended Lady Gabriella Windsor's royal wedding to Thomas Kingston on Saturday.

Harry was not expected to attend the ceremony – especially so soon after Meghan gave birth – but looked like he enjoyed the family day in Windsor sharing a joke with the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.

Meghan, meanwhile, said during Archie's first photocall that she was lucky to have the "two best guys in the world", and that motherhood was "magic" and "amazing."

The former actress also paid tribute to her son on her first Mother's Day on Sunday.

Meghan posted a lovely picture of little Archie's feet, with a backdrop of Forget Me Not flowers – to honour Princess Diana.

We also revealed how Meghan has been described as a "princess of the UK" on Archie's birth certificate.

And it was claimed that Meghan gave Archie the middle name Harrison as a "tribute to her favourite Beatle".
