ROYAL fans think the Queen dropped a hint yesterday that Harry and Meghan are expecting a girl — by turning up to church all in pink.
Her Majesty remained tight-lipped as she awaited news of her latest great-grandchild, but passers-by believe her outfit offered a clue to its gender.
She surprised dog walkers as she arrived without a seatbelt in the back of a car at the Royal Chapel Of All Saints in Windsor Great Park.
One told The Sun: “Everyone’s hoping news of the baby comes soon.
“Given the colour she was wearing, maybe the Queen knows something we don’t. It’s bound to be a girl — late babies always are.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first child is thought to be more than a week overdue already. Having the baby induced is an option for all mums-to-be who do not go into labour naturally by 42 weeks.
Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland is staying with the couple at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor where they hope the child will be delivered.
But Harry’s dad Prince Charles may miss the birth of his fourth grandchild if it does not arrive by tomorrow. He is due to start a three-day tour of Germany with the Duchess of Cornwall.
Last month Meghan’s close pal Serena Williams, 37, fuelled speculation she was expecting a girl by using the word “she” when talking about a friend’s baby.
While the tennis ace did not mention the duchess by name, asked about advice she would give parents she said: “My friend is pregnant and she’s like, ‘My kid’s gonna do this’.
“I just looked at her and was like, ‘No she’s not and no you’re not’. She started laughing and was like, ‘I need to talk to you about tips’ because I had all those high expectations and I had what I was going to do.”
Bets on the gender have been suspended by some bookies in the belief the child may already have arrived.
Instead, a flurry of wagers on the tot’s name are being made with Ivy and Alexander among the top picks.
Prince Harry, 34, gave a hint the baby’s arrival is imminent — on Friday he cancelled a planned trip to Amsterdam this Wednesday.

Instead, he will now only travel to The Hague on Thursday to the launch of his Invictus Games.
It has also been claimed the couple may be house hunting in the US soon with sources saying Meghan “definitely wants a place in Los Angeles”.
