My ‘birthday dress’ split opinions – some people loved it but others said I’ll ‘definitely be flashing' | The Sun

ONE birthday girl's possible "32, drinks on you" dress caused controversy when she tried it on.

The indecisive woman asked people to rate the look, and people had split opinions.

Cerie Marie (@cerimarie1990) couldn't decide on her birthday outfit, so she sought help.

She posted a video to show the dress option she was leaning toward.

"Okay, so I bought this over Christmas to go out, and I didn't wear it," she said.

Cerie donned a long black blazer dress with a V-cut neckline and three rows of gold buttons down the middle.

"Now, it's coming up to my birthday, and I'm thinking: 'Oh, is this a 32 drinks on you kind of dress?' Um, I'm not sure," the fashion fan admitted.

While the length and fit of the dress made the attire less formal, Cerie didn't like the contrast of the shoulder pads with it.

To make the look more fun, Cerie put on black ankle booties.

She asked: "I don't know, I feel quite manly in it. What do we think?"

Another man disagreed: "You look amazing and definitely wear it."

"I think yes, you would get them in that outfit. Drinks are on me," an interested suitor noted.
