Meghan Markle, 41, appeared at the One Young World Summit in Manchester on Monday evening. The Duchess of Sussex delivered a powerful key note speech in a red blouse and matching trousers by the brand Another Tomorrow. She also paired these red items with a pair of stunning red stilettos.
According to style expert Daena Borrowman, the PR and Social and Digital Marketing Manager at jewellerybox, the colour red was a “power move”.
She explained: “Meghan Markle’s top-to-toe red outfit at the One Young World summit was a power move and very much her style.
“In terms of the finer details, her pants and blouse were both Another Tomorrow, worth a combined £2,300, while her red pumps were from Aquazzura and worth £620.
“She accessorised with chunky gold earrings and a gold ring.”

What does the colour red symbolise?
Daena opined: “The colour red symbolises strength, passion, energy, growth and prosperity.
“Meghan looked powerful and glamorous (unapologetically herself!) in the tonal ensemble which perfectly complemented her radiant complexion.
“She is clearly confident in her role and unafraid to command the attention of a room when championing gender equality.”
What is Meghan’s “signature style”?
Daena added: “Her signature style is business chic, and she looks her best in shirt dresses, power suits, belted coats and pointy stiletto pumps.
“Not much has changed about Meghan between her pre and post-royal days.
“Photographs from before she became a Duchess show that Meghan’s outfits always had bold colours.
“She has always been confident in high heels and always fancied a well-tailored look in a strong silhouette.”
Meghan is heading to Dusseldorf today in Germany with Prince Harry where the colour red will again make a prominent appearance.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will reportedly be given a lavish reception when they arrive in Germany for an Invictus Games event.
This will include a town hall reception and a boat cruise on the Rhine.
Although they are private citizens, the Sussexes will apparently be treated like heads of state as they have a reception and book signing at Dusseldorf town hall.
This hall will be decked out in red and white flowers – the colours of the city.
Meghan will undoubtedly include a nod to these colours with her outfit choice.
