I'm a Disney princess for hire – I worked a kid's party and no one showed up but the parents' reaction was next level

CHILDREN'S parties are usually a happy occasion, but for one Disney princess, it was a total nightmare.

Jessica Vanel, who works as a princess impersonator, talked about her worst encounter with clients.

Before telling her story on social media, the 25-year-old clarified that she's never really had any mom or dad get mad at her.

However, she has seen some pretty upset parents in her line of work.

Therefore she advised: "The following story is a good example of why if you commit to something, you should really follow through with it."

Sadly, this is exactly what attendees didn't do at the party she worked at recently.

After hiring her for a big birthday party, the mom allegedly paid extra for a second person, known as a character attendant, to help Vanel control the crowd of kids that were scheduled to show up.

However, once the party got started, it actually wasn't necessary because not many kids showed up – and the mom wasn't too happy with the turnout.

The former princess explained: "The whole time the mom was on her cell phone leaving some colorfully worded messages for the people that didn't show up."

After she shared the intense encounter, a lot of the comments left on her post shared their own party experiences.

One person wrote: "When my mom threw a party for my eighth-grade graduation, a bunch of people said they were coming.

"But hardly anybody showed up.

"She ordered so much catering that we ended up keeping it in a deep freezer in the basement and eating off of it all summer."

A second said: "It's the rudest thing ever when people RSVP and don't show.

"Unless it was an emergency, I probably will never invite you again."

Others expressed how bad they felt for the birthday girl.
