CLEANING your home doesn't have to feel like such a chore.

There are some tricks and tips you can use to make your house look sparkling in no time at all.

According to cleaning and decluttering pro Caroline Solomon there are five things you can do to make cleaning your home.

She posted the trick on TikTok and people can't get enough of them.

Vacuuming the floor is one of the main things that you should do when cleaning, but it can quickly get full of dirt and hair making it less effecitve.

Caroline said: "Empty the vacuum after every use, this keeps the vacuum running as efficiently as possible."

Caroline's next tip is to look at all your surfaces from eye-level, rather than above to make sure they're properly clean.

"They might look clean from above, but from eye-level there are smudges," she explained

When cleaning mirrors and other surfaces the way you wipe them matters.

The pro suggested using the 'S' pattern to ensure you don't miss any spots, "this maximises surface area," she said.

Dusting your shelves and other surfaces might seem obvious, but according to the pro loads of people forget to dust their plants, which not only means they don't get as much sunlight but they look grim too,

Caroline's final tip is to let your toilet brush fully dry after each use.

You can do this by balancing it under the toilet seat so no nasty drips of water fall on your floor or linger in the brush holder.
