I got make-up tattooed onto my eyelids and it was my biggest mistake ever, I spend ages covering it up every day | The Sun

GETTING a tattoo is usually an exciting experience, but a decision not to be made lightly.

The ink that you get will be there for the rest of your life, unless you decide to cover it or get it laser removed, which can both cost a bomb if you’re not careful.

Now, one woman has issued a warning to all those thinking of getting permanent make-up tattoos in a bid to stop them from making the same mistake she did.

Taking to her social media account, Mar appeared bare faced with wet hair as she shared: “If you ever thought about getting your eyeliner tattooed, please don’t.

“I got mine done when I was 19, four years ago, and it looks horrible right now.”

Zooming in on her eyelid, she pointed at the faded black eyeliner, which was hardly visible on the other eyelid.

“Right now, I have to put two layers of P. Louise and powder on top to cover it completely,” she added as the video came to an end.

In the caption, TikTok user @heya.itsmar wrote: “Maybe my biggest mistake ever”.

People flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts as one person wrote: “I mean when you Google how long it lasts ita 8-18mnths and every you're supposed to get it touched up every year, sun exposure causes tattoos to fade”.

Another suggested: “You can do tattoo concealer to cover it up permanently”.
