Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, 51, stepped out on September 13 to visit the Triple ThreaT Foundation in Haarlem, which had been awarded the Big Apple of Orange 2022 from the Orange Fund. This was in recognition of their commitment to closing the gap between young people who have different opportunities. But what did she wear?
The royal wore a stunning dress, predominantly black, but it also boasted symmetrical patterns in white and orange.
Her latest look was the Wool Colourblock- Stripe Dress by American designer Michael Kors.
The bodice and sleeves of the dress created a T-shirt look and were very simplistic.
The wow factor of the dress was the skirt, which had a long slit running up the middle of the fabric.

This showed off the royal’s enviably toned legs, which were accentuated by a pair of heels.
The skirt of the dress was mainly black but in the middle had stretches of white and orange.
A chunky black belt in patent leather separated the bodice and skirt, which, in addition to the slit, highlighted the royal’s enviable figure.
As for accessories, Queen Maxima went all out with a pair of PVC D’Orsay Red Suede Pumps from Natan.
These stunning shoes have been recycled by the royal on several occasions.
She also carried a statement orange clutch which perfectly complemented her dress.
The Queen is often spotted out and about in an orange ensemble, and it perfectly suits her complexion.
Maxima also went for a showstopping pair of earrings in black and white from Fraleoni Gioielli.
These are from the Rainbow Collection, which, according to the website, retails “jewels with intense and deep shapes, designed to be worn on any occasion”.
The black and white pendants are sold separately, and Queen Maxima has worn the black ones on several occasions.
The white pendants appear to be new, however, the royal owns several pieces in different colours which she can mix and match.
The beautiful Queen also wore a cluster of silver bracelets on one wrist.
She opted for a black and white bangle on the other, complementing her earrings.
The royal wore her hair up in a chic bun pinned at the nape of her neck.
As for makeup, she went for a dewy look and a touch of bronzer to contour her face.
She wore simple pink lipstick, focusing more on eye makeup which was dark and smokey.
Royal fans took to Instagram to praise the fashionable royal’s latest look.
@notmynan stated: “Wow. Very eye-catching. It suits her.” @rachelhannam added: “Stunning. And those earrings … wow!!”
