Vicky Pattison says moment Gordon Ramsay dropped into her DMs was better than engagement

Geordie Shore star and queen of the I’m a Celebrity Jungle, Vicki Pattison has opened up to OK! about some of her deepest secrets – including the time celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay slid into her DM’s.

As part of a candid video full of confessions, the cheeky Northerner was all smiles as she answered a number of questions ranging from the funniest thing to ever have happened to her, through to her favourite tv show to ever appear on.

But it was one question concerning her celebrity encounters and the most famous person to have ever slid into her DM's that revealed she had previously been contacted by the culinary star after visiting one of his restaurants.

“So after me and Ercan got engaged in Dubai, we went to Hell’s Kitchen and had a meal and it was so lovely!”, explained Vicky in the clip.

“Gordon Ramsey slid into my DM’s and was like ‘did you have a nice night? And congratulations!’”

Clearly impressed by the exchange, Vicky couldn’t contain her laughter before quipping in a conspiratorial whisper: “And don’t tell Ercan, but it was almost better than the engagement!”

Vicky has been engaged to TOWIE star Ercan Ramadan since February this year, with the pair snapped enjoying a lavish engagement party with family and friends shortly after the news was made public.

Commenting on the celebration at the time in an Instagram post, Vicky said: "Since getting engaged my feet literally haven't touched the ground and I haven't had a chance to get up home and celebrate with my beautiful friends and family… So last night we all heading to @branchesrestaurant for the most gorgeous night..”

Treating her loved ones to a delicious dinner from Branches restaurant in Newcastle, several pictures were shared online by the star showing a decadent table spread, with stunningly elegant details.

The star later went on to confess that she spent most of the evening "drinking, eating, laughing and swapping wedding planning stories,” before finally adding "I didn't necessarily know what I wanted my 'grown up' life to look like… but now I know this is definitely it.

"I'm so lucky to have the best friends and family in the world and of course now- the best fiancé."
