Olivia Bowen ‘wants to go on Strictly Come Dancing’ but rules out I’m A Celebrity because of spiders

Olivia Bowen has said she would love to compete on Strictly Come Dancing.

The 26 year old, who recently said she'll be replacing salon treatments for a simple £3.99 hair mask, appeared on Jose Cuervo's online cocktail series Ready Steady Cuervo to make the revelation.

After creating a concoction of tequila, cheese, and eggs, the blonde beauty told award-winning mixologist Tom Dyer that she would love to appear on the hit BBC One series.

Sipping on her drink, she said: "No, I’m not [taking part in Stricty] I wish I was! Yeah, I am the kind of person to say, never say never, so if something comes up, then I’d give it a go.

"I’d love to do Strictly! That would probably be the one that I go for as I used to dance when I was younger."

While Olivia, who recently revealed where she'll be heading as soon as lockdown is lifted, might be willing to put on some heels for a little dancing, it seems she's not ready to venture out into the Australian jungle to take part in I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

She continued: "Dancing On Ice, I’m a bit too scared to do that. I’m A Celebrity, I don’t like spiders. So all I’ve got left is Strictly Come Dancing!"

Earlier in the cocktail-mixing class, Olivia also reflected on her time on the hit ITV dating show Love Island back in 2016, where she met her 28 year old husband Alex.

"It was four years ago actually, so I feel like it has just flown by. I am a completely different person now. I am a lot older."

"I’ve never watched it back because I don’t particularly want to see that side of me," she added.

Opening up on her thoughts at the 2020 summer series being postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, she said: "It is such a shame, but obviously it had to happen.

"But the show changed my life. It’s crazy. Meeting the love of your life [Alex Bowen], your husband on there [Love Island] who you’re going to have kids with one day.

"You just don’t expect it to happen on a reality TV show. It’s really mad!

"It is a shame [for future Love Island contestants] but there’s always next year. And it’s gonna’ keep going. We just need to stay in our homes and gardens and pretend we’re in our own Love Island."
