The Married At First Sight UK Christmas reunion descended into drama rather quickly as Nikita Jasmine began to share some advice with Chanita Stephenson and Jordan Emmett-Connelly.
The Christmas dinner saw Chanita and Jordan reunite following their split, and with tensions already high, Chanita did not seems too happy with Nikita sharing her thoughts.
Revealing that she knew Jordan prior to his stint on the show, Nikita told her pal that she loved him (as a friend) and began giving him some advice.
This upset Chanita, who accused her of "sticking her nose" into their business, before speaking to Jordan and asking why he would tell Nikita "everything."
Jordan told his ex that he didn't speak to Nikita about their split, claiming that he "barely knows her."
While Chanita and Jordan were talking, Zoe and Nikita began a shouting match as Zoe defended her pal Chanita.
Viewers at home seemed somewhat baffled at Nikita and Jordan's friendship, with one posting to Twitter: "Nikita loves Jordan from where?" and a second asked: "How is Nikita saying she loves Jordan?? She doesn't know them!!!"
Another commented: "Jordan saying they’re pals and they speak but then saying he barely knows her?? SNAKE," while a fourth added: "Jordan saying he barely knows Nikita LMAOOOOOOO this sh*t embarrassing."
Ahead of the reunion show, love expert Charlene Douglas predicted that Chanita and Jordan were likely to have a rather awkward time.
Speaking to Betway, Charlene said: “I’m keen to see how Jordan and Chanita find that union. It’s been a while and I’m not sure if they’ve been in touch. From my understanding, they were friends so I’m not sure whether they’ll remain the same or not.
"It’s always super awkward to see an ex at an event knowing they’re going to be there. It will be interesting to see how that pans out and I can imagine they’ll both be quite nervous.”
Charlene continued: "I would love for them to be together, I genuinely would. But I do feel like there’s too much that’s happened now. It might be quite tricky for them to come back together.
"There’s so many eyes on them, waiting to see what happens. I do believe that they have learnt a lot about themselves, relationships and what they need from relationships. I’m hopeful that they have still remained friends.”
And while things were certainly awkward between the former couple, the episode did see them have a heart-to-heart, although Chanita opted against rekindling their romance.
