Lindsay Lohan sparks pregnancy rumours with comment on Amy Schumar’s Instagram

Lindsay Lohan has sparked wild speculation that she is pregnant after leaving a mysterious message on the Instagram page of Amy Schumer.

The rumour mill went into overdrive on Saturday night when 37-year-old comedienne Amy shared a heavily pregnant photograph of herself.

With her belly exposed, and an exhausted expression, the stand up and actress expressed her impatience at her ongoing condition.

“Oh yeah does it feel to everyone like I’ve been pregnant for a long time? It must be getting annoying to you all that I’m still pregnant Well imagine how I feel mother f***ers!” she wrote.

The comment provoked a flurry of comments of amusement and encouragement – but when 32-year-old Lindsay waded into the conversation, an entirely new flurry of comments were unleashed.

“I fell ya girl,” Lindsay typed in the comments section of the post – alongside an emoji of a girl with pigtails.

Fans and followers quickly turned their attention to the Mean Girls star – with many questioning if she was announcing a pregnancy of her own.

“How do you ‘feel her’ on this?” one baffled fan asked, while another wrote: “omg girl!!! Is this your pregnancy announcement?!”

Others suspected Lindsay was commenting on Amy’s slogan T-shirt – with one speculating: “I’m assuming she hates Mondays?”

While others wondered if the actress made the comment to refer to her role in the 2009 comedy Labour Pains in which she played a character who lied about being pregnant – but goes into labour in the closing scenes after actually falling pregnant.

In 2014, Lindsay revealed she suffered a miscarriage while filming an eight-part Oprah Winfrey backed reality TV show called Lindsay.

Opening up about watching the reality series and for scenes that were filmed around her miscarriage, the actress explained she found filming difficult.

“Watching this series, I just know how I felt at that moment and I can relate to that girl, which sounds kind of crazy, but I'm like, ‘Oh my god, this is really sad. Who's helping her?’” she said in 2014.

“There was a lot going on in my life then. I cried so many times watching it. Because I don’t see it as me – it’s strange. It’s weird,” she added.
