In an attempt to encourage voters in Georgia to turn out for the upcoming run-off elections to the U.S. Senate, the #iVoted initiative is bringing together more than 50 artists for a music event on January 5.
“We’re thrilled to announce #iVoted Festival Georgia, featuring the top streaming artists in and from the Peach State, all coming together to celebrate voting with you on Election Day and night January 5th,” the group said in an announcement.
The initial line up of artists who are scheduled to perform or speak at the #iVoted Festival Georgia includes Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, Arrested Development, Drive-By Truckers, The Revivalists and Andy Mineo.
Georgians can RSVP for the event now via #iVoted’s website by taking selfies at home with their blank and unmarked ballot or outside their polling place on Election Day. Non-Georgia residents, fans unable to vote and minors will also be able to RSVP.
Hosted by livestreaming platform Mandolin, the nonpartisan event consists of three stages from 1 p.m. to 9:35 p.m. ET.
