Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik enjoy first date night after birth of daughter

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have enjoyed a cosy date night following the birth of their first child together.

The model cooked up a storm in the kitchen for herself and her beau, as they sat down to enjoy a romantic meal of butter chicken piccata with mushroom pasta, and it looked absolutely delicious.

Taking to her Instagram story, Gigi shared footage of herself making the dish, which involved frying pieces of chicken and green beans together.

‘Made @halfbakedharvest’s browned sage butter chicken piccata with mushroom pasta tonight (highly recommend),’ she wrote.

Later sharing a snap of the finished meal, she added that she was ‘missing’ her baby, who was spending time with her grandmother.

‘Mom & dad’s first date night (she’s in the other room w Oma but miss her sm lol),’ she said.

It comes after Gigi, 25, and Zayn, 27, both welcomed their daughter in September, announcing the news in a sweet post shared to social media.

Zayn wrote: ‘Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful.

‘To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding.

‘Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together.’

The singer accompanied the news with a black and white photo of his hand gently holding his baby daughter’s.

Gigi later shard her own statement, writing: ‘Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love.’

The star had previously confirmed that she and Zayn were expecting in May during an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

‘Obviously we wish we could have announced it on our own terms but we’re very excited and happy, and grateful for everyone’s well-wishes and support,’ she explained.

‘It definitely wasn’t bad news and we’re happy now to be excited about it.’

Zayn and Gigi first begun dating in 2015 and were on and off before reuniting at the end of 2019.
