Frankie Bridge ditches homeschooling as she treats sons to incredible makeshift water slide

Frankie Bridge has proved she's the best mum of all as she treated her sons to a day off school on Wednesday, 20 May.

The 31 year old, who recently said the lockdown has given her bad anxiety, took to her Instagram feed to update her 1.1million followers on how homeschooling is going amid the coronavirus pandemic.

While usually the mum-of-two, who shares Parker, six, and four year old Carter with her husband Wayne, 39, is on top of ensuring her kids have the best education whether they're at home or not, yesterday she decided to give them a well-deserved break.

Sharing a clip of her children running through the garden in their swimming trunks, the former The Saturdays star captured them sliding onto a homemade slip and slide in slow motion.

Parker and Carter looked like they were having the time of their lives as their former professional footballer dad held a hose onto the red and blue-coloured plastic sheet.

Frankie, who recently shared her brilliant solo self-tan hack for when you can't reach your back, also posted a photo of herself sunbathing while her kids enjoyed the makeshift water park.

In the snap, the star looked gorgeous as she donned a black strapless bikini and a pair of sunglasses as she held up her hand to give the peace sign.

She captioned it: "This is what homeschooling at the Bridges looks like today f**k it!

"Swipe to see teach of the year," followed by a peace sign emoji, a sun emoji and a cheeky smiley face emoji alongside the hashtags #homeschool, #fun, #family and #sunshine. [sic]

And a third praised her for the idea as they wrote: "As a teacher I have been advising my parents to do just this, have FUN! Make memories, get creative, have lazy days. If the kids are happy and healthy they will engage with academic learning much more easily once school returns to ‘normal’ and teachers will go above and beyond for all the children because it’s what we do. Enjoy the day in the sun!", along with a peace sign emoji and a sun emoji.
