Brad Pitt’s ‘Ad Astra’ Removed From May 24 Release Schedule

Brad Pitt‘s movie Ad Astra was supposed to be released on May 24, 2019, which is just three weeks from now.

However, the movie has quietly disappeared from release schedules, Variety reports.

Originally, the movie was supposed to be released on January 11, 2019, but the release date was pushed back to Memorial Day Weekend. Memorial Day Weekend is projected to be dominated by the live action Aladdin movie.

Disney distribution head Cathleen Taff recently said that some of their films release dates will be altered in the coming weeks, and perhaps Ad Astra is part of that crop of movies.

Here’s a brief synopsis of Ad Astra: Astronaut Roy McBride travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet. Ruth Negga, Tommy Lee Jones, Donald Sutherland, and more star.

Stay tuned as we learn more.
